Indeed! An amazing encounter, though I think you should gussy it up a bit with some authentic South American Machismo! You have a right to it after that epic struggle for the freedom to own expensive North American/Japanese electronics. Oh my lord, sweetheart, I can't believe that happened in your part of the city! Livy and I are both gasping with horror from the internet cafe...I am glad you handled it with such (ahem) grace, and that you are ok! Pete!! Im so glad you're (relatively) ok and you defended life, limb, and posessions too! The fact that you kept your wits about you in that situation is something to be proud of. I read this yesterday and last night i had a dream that i beat the shit out of all three of your assailants and broke one of thier legs! I woke up all sweaty. That dream was for you my friend.
